——what salt there is 是主语从句。请网友注意两个新的语法术语：传统语法所说的“复合代词” what（在不表示疑问或感叹时），现代语法叫做“融合性关系代词”或“融合性关系限定词”（作定语用）。本句的 what 就是“融合性关系限定词”，作 salt 的定语。

就 a task 提问，得到：
what isit in the power of everyone to accomplish for himself?
宾语从句把 is it 调换过来即可。

翻译：每一个人都有能力为自己收获什么
由此看出，in the power of everyone to accomplish for himself 分别作 task 的定语，也就是作 what 的定语。
